- Obserion does not set student parking permit fees. Districts set amounts and policy; Obserion facilitates office record-keeping (paid/pending status, method, date).
- Obserion does not store student card numbers, bank accounts, or other financial credentials.
- Card checkout, when enabled, uses the district's secure payment processor.
- After graduation, K–12 and college tenants may queue removal of contact and license data after a configurable grace period. Violations, vehicle plates, and permit fee status may remain for reporting.
- Tenant organizations are data controllers; Obserion is a data processor.
